I got into daylilies about 2010 or so. My cousin (Jack Church in Ohio), who I had met online doing genealogy, raised these kinds of flowers & I knew nothing about them. So he sent a few to me. And that was the start of my addiction. You can't just have one, or two. They come in so many different colors, shapes and sizes that you keep wanting more. I did that and now own close to 1,000. Anyway, each year I continue to learn more - but I wish I had started earlier so I'd know more by this point. I have not done any hybridizing yet. It would be fun to try.
