Love the quiet stillness .... early morning in the garden

Another rainy day means no work outside today.
... well, not quite "no work".
Very heavy rainfall early this afternoon had our gutters overflowing.
So many catkins fall from the big oak trees in the spring,
that watermelon sized balls of them roll down the street
.... like tumblin' tumbleweed.
And the ones that don't get tumblin' away down our street ...
well they roll down our shingles and clog our gutters : )
Cleaning them out is not a fun job - but someone's got to do it : )
So there was a little work done outside today after all.
