Some new friends came to live in our garden today : ) We went out looking for hardy ground cover but along the way a hosta nursery lured us in too ... always room for friends : )

The nursery where we bought our succulents has a display of huge, old plants (I know I saw one price tag close to $2000 !) This is just a small selection of the giants that are housed in the greenhouse.

Here comes summer .... don't know why that particular song popped into my mind when I saw these roses, but it did : )

Rain overnight and everything looks fresh and clean in the early morning light. Ants, bees, butterflies all so busy already ... longest daylight days of the year seem far too short for some : )
