Planted this tree about 20 years ago and it has grown tremendously well. It survived the 2018 wildfire in front of the house but the east side of it that faced the house was burned pretty badly. It has borers where the wood is exposed. The bark was burned off the east side of the tree. It is lopsided because of the fire. The west side is large and full and the east side of it is pretty damaged still. But it still stands and is the only shade in the front yarden. It will need to come down one day but for now until then it stays because we love that tree and it is causing no harm and doesn't pose a threat of coming down at the moment. |

This aloe did great living on the barn porch in the summer of 2023 and I brought it in the house for the winter and it isn't very happy. Hoping when I put it back out for the summer of 2024 that it rebounds. It has several pups I can transplant in case it doesn't make it. | |
