The recommendation is to avoid overhead watering or wetting the foliage to prevent Botrytis. It also helps to allow the soil to dry a bit between waterings.

DaffSeek description -'Fl. 101 mm wide; perianth segments ovate, blunt, fairly prominently mucronate, somewhat inflexed, overlapping a quarter; the inner segments with margins incurved at apex; corona cylindrical, smooth, rich pink, paler towards base, with mouth a little expanded, lightly frilled, rim notched and crenate. Resembles 'Interim' in the perianth and 'Passionale' in the corona. (10-29-13).

There are 2 so named cultivars in the ADS's database. The other one is a registered (pre 1948) Classic Trumpet daffodil from Guy Wilson of Northern Ireland.

Fl. 37mm wide pale greenish yellow; perianth segments narrowly triangular in appearance, shorter than the cup, yellow, obscurely veined green, spreading; cup more-or-less spreading, pale greenish yellow, mouth even or a little wavy, rim irregularly crenate and becoming slightly rolled with age. Resembles a 'Julia Jane' of paler color, and a 'Joy Bishop' with the cup less markedly lobed.' (10-28-13)

Added five fans & rebloomed beginning mid-late October after planting in July (border of 6b/7a). Most growers note this as a reliable rebloomer.

This is a lovely iris. It re-bloomed the week of Halloween in 2012 and 2013 when I had it planted in full sun (border of zone 6b/7a). I moved it so that it receives brief mid-day shade in September & October. 2015 it re-bloomed In September & still has a couple flowers left October 31st. This seems to be a reliable fall re-bloomer here, although it doesn't always bloom in the spring.
