RHS's The International Daffodil Register & Classified List describes this entry as follows: 'Fl. 95 mm wide; perianth segments very broad in outline, blunt or rounded at apex, not prominently mucronate, yellowish white 158D, spreading, plane, with margins slightly incurling, overlapping half; the inner segments slightly inflexed, somewhat concave; corona split to base, the six segments half as long as the perianth segments and more-or-less alternate to them, squarish at apex, with a broad longitudinal band of yellow-pink (22D) at midrib shading to dusky pink (41D) at apex, flanked by white, spreading or a little inflexed, lightly frilled. A dwarf white, swept-back, winged (petalled), yellow cupped beauty that is suited to forcing over winter due to characteristics of a very early bloom and short stature.

This daff is of New Zealand origin registered in 1971 w/ The International Daffodil Register & Classified List at The Royal Horticultural Society Horticultural Database’, available at www.rhs.org.uk
where it is described thusly: 'Fl. 82 mm wide, facing slightly downwards; perianth segments ovate or broadly ovate, blunt, slightly mucronate, reflexed, creased, with margins a little incurling at apex, overlapping one-third to a half; corona somewhat funnel-shaped, smooth, vivid yellow 9A, paler at base, with mouth flared and more or less even, rim very shallowly notched and obscurely crenate. Dwarf. Early. 2n=21'

Multiple award winner sometimes spelled as 'Treena'.
Fertile, once used as seed parent (Marvis May), once as pollen parent (Wind Dancer).

RHS description - 'Fl. rounded, 106mm wide; perianth segments 44mm long, very broad, rounded at apex, yellow, with a band of white at base and with white mucro, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance; the inner segments narrower, shouldered at base, less prominently mucronate; corona 46mm long, funnel-shaped, regularly ribbed, white, with a narrow band of yellow at rim, mouth flared and lightly frilled, with rim dentate'.

DaffSeek describes Tasrose thusly - 'Perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, broadly ovate, greenish white, with paler mucro, a little inflexed, concave, with midrib showing, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls successively a little shorter and more strongly inflexed; the segments at center very strongly inflexed, folded or with margins wavy; corona segments half the length of the petaloid segments, crumpled and tightly clustered among the petaloid segments at center, more loosely interspersed among the surrounding whorls, orange-pink, wavy.' 10-8-13.

DaffSeek describes Tasman Pride as 'Fl.100mm wide; perianth segments 40mm long, broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, white, spreading, concave, with margins incurling, smooth, overlapping half or more; the inner segments a little narrower, shouldered at base; corona 30mm long, the six segments each closely overlying a perianth segment, forming an outer and an inner whorl of three, two-thirds the width of the perianth segments, bi-lobed, with lobes overlapping, creased, opening light greenish yellow, with a band of red-orange at rim, becoming white, with a band of red-orange at rim, frilled.'

Double triangle flower form consisting of white petals and a white cylindrical trumpet that has green in it's base.
The RHS awarded Silent Valley an Award of Garden Merit in 2002, then in 2012, said award was rescinded.

RHS - 'l. about 50 mm wide, pale greenish yellow; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls symmetrically superimposed, narrowly ovate and acute, or lanceolate and with prominently incurved mucro, sometimes twisted, with margins tinged green, separated; the outer whorl inflexed; the inner whorls successively more strongly inflexed; corona segments opposite the petaloid segments, a little shorter, clustered at centre, more loosely interspersed among the surrounding whorls, obscurely bi-lobed. Very early.
