I have added the patterend eye to my hybridizing programs, this seedling will be taken to the next level....I do hope to have some good results by next spring.....

Thanks Michele, Cindy - The summer has been a bit busy until now, my last daylily show judging commitment was last weekend and now the only thing I have is Rudy's (Rudy2 on cubits) open garden, and then I can sit, and look out the window and try to think of some good crosses for next spring.

I do have a few extra large and Uf's to work with...

This seedling was put with Dancing Chevrons, for size, I do hope the bold eye is unchanged ..

Thanks Mona! This is always a busy time, with travel, and starting new seedlings, it takes most of my time - not to mention we just had our second worst June on record for hi temps.

Thanks Betty - The last seedling is a Hold Your Horses kid, anyone who grows HYH knows what a nice daylily it is, I have 3 seedlings from HYH that i will evaluate next season...

Best round form this season comes from a ACROSS THE GALAXY seedling...This one will register if it hold true to its form....Also has very good parentage for the large edges......

Lyle, I have Across the Universe, and am getting some nice
round forms from it as well. Love those eyed ones from HYH.
Just beautiful. Of course, love the purple ones too.

May I ask, what is your goal for the patterned eyed ones?
Multiple rings or intricate designs or other?
