What do you mean by 'give up the eye'...do just mean pass it on, or do you want a flower with a great throat ( that one is yummy) and maybe a more solid look. Im trying to get rid of so many purple eyes that keep popping up, not having much luck.

do you still use sponges to start or do you have way to many now.

Thanks Cindy!

Thanks Margaret!

Pam - a good example of giving up an eye is Rock Solid the pod parent to Get Jiggy, some eyed daylilies will not give up their eye the most you may get is a ring but as for a broken eye it just isn't going to happen with some eyed daylilies.
I have used Infinity and Beyond to brake the eye...

I no longer use the sponge, though i did like them for a smaller amount of seedliings. I now use the #38 trays with the 5 1/2" depth

Lyle, I like the Unicorn Tapestry x Judge Judy with the
starburst pattern, and the Infinity and Beyond duo.

Rudy lots of pretty northern seedlings there, especially 9030, 9057, 9038,
9018, 9095 ( Smiling ), sdlg x unkn, 9028, and 10148.
Now that I've written these numbers, I have to look back to see
what they are. *Blush*
