I promised Lynn I would get pics of Faramir. As soon as I downloaded the camera, I'll follow up.
Yesterday, I divided Faramir. It was a tiny thing, with several ~1/2" offsets on a single stem and root. I received it late last summer, and it was healthy, but not growing. I was lucky to get a good cut, dividing the stem and root equally in half vertically. It was dried enough to plant today, so now I have two pieces. Will keep and eye on them and get some pics posted here. Since it wasn't growing, I thought I didn't have much to lose by doing the division.
Sherri very generously shared her crested Boromir with me. It arrived yesterday and was planted. I haven't taken a pic yet, but it is a weird thing. It's beautiful to me.
So now, despite my interest in the Pacific series (Lynn & Chris, do we have a thread devoted to the Pacifics, whee we can post pics?), I've got the beginnings of the LOR series as well (Legolas, Farimir, Boromir). I'm going to have to looks the movie up so I can get a visual of hwo the characters actually are.
