Saw this, thought it was interesting for a lot of reasons, wonder if anyone has every tried it.

Interesting! I'd never heard of Cynodon Dog Tuff™ grass. Unfortunately, it's not tolerant of shade ... our entire property is heavily shaded.

It is definitely a summer lawn versus a winter lawn. Sleeps late, goes to bed early. At one time, lawn seed blends had both summer and winter grasses in them, causing half the lawn to always look dead. From the site reviews, seems the grass would do better in the warmer climates.

I am ever hopeful for that perfect blade of grass in Oregon that can be both summer and winter, but alas, I don't think it will be this one.

Sounds like Minnesota, we only have summer grass (2.5-3 months) and winter grass (under snow)
