Thread OP

I tried to attach a pic, but was unsuccessful. Sorry. I have a plant that I can't identify. It has a daisy-like flower with 10 to 12 petals, but it is 6 feet tall, shrubby with tri-lobed leaves. The petals are deep orange and the cone pale orange. Thanks,
glenn

It is hard to guess without visual, maybe if you tell us where you saw this flower It may help .

Here in my zone 5 Indiana we have several tall daisy shape blooming now
Helianthus or heliopsis most of those yellow

My best guess would be mexican sunflower, tithonia torch

or if the flowers are small1'' or so Helenium , but they are usually only 3foot or so.
Good luck
I am sorry I am tech challenged and can't walk you through how to post a photo, but you can find that info here on this sight if you ask *Blush* some one more knowledge

Thanks Gardengus. Yes, it appears as if you nailed it. Thank you! It most certainly appears to be Mexican sunflower, Tithonia rotundifolia. Much appreciated,
