Thread OP

I live in England and grew my plumeria from a stem in a pot indoors. It lived for 10 years and grew to 5 foot tall and became too big to stay indoors. I put it out in my greenhouse and when I checked yesterday the stems near the tips had started to go black I'm guessing from the freezing cold. I cut 2 of the branches off about 15 inches in length in a hope to desperately save them by potting them on. I could do with some advice as this one in the picture is a bit soft and dark looking near the top. What should I do before I pot it? Thanks for Any help

Also can I cut the top off where it's black and re pot it? I would appreciate any replies as I'm desperate not to lose this plant. It has a lot of sentimental value. Thanks

If it is feeling mushy already to your touch, then I would cut it off till you see clean, no rot area. Then dab lightly with cinnamon. Just keep it warm and dry, no watering. Got to just wait it out till it is Spring again. Either you stick it in a dry media, or just leave it alone, dry and warm. It is dormant right now, just let it be.
