Planted some Cleome last year. Saved seed for this year and once I had a pile I stopped saving it. We had a fairly mild winter. Here is the result of all that dropped seed. Luckily, it is very shallow rooted and doesn't take much effort to weed back. I didn't even have to use the seeds I saved.

Wow, hope you add a pic when they are all in bloom. They sell them in FL, I've had some come back, but I think it is too hot and humid here for their liking.
Hot and humid here as well and they are in the part of the yard that gets cooked the longest. Will add pics... Some look closer to blooming today even though they're not very big yet.

These will get taller but they are flowering well now. Every back will flower like this and new flowers open at the middle. Pollen and seeds are borne on the line filament looking structures.
