The flowers are actually tiny little yellow things.

The big fluffy things are the plumes that come after it blooms - kind of hair-like things that carry the seeds around when the wind blows them off the bush. They seem to be readily available at nurseries where I live, but not sure where you are. They are drought tolerant and mine thrives really well in a zone 5 garden with alkaline soil. Best of luck finding one!

Hi lalabaster, Welcome!

As lauribob mentioned, Smoketrees (Cotinus coggygria) have tiny, yellow flowers but most people grow them for the feathery pink hairs that surround the fruits, rather than the blooms. I love those beautiful shrubs and always wished they grew here in Florida where I live.

We don't sell plants here at garden.org. This site is for gardeners to chat about and share information and photos of their favorite plants. You should inquire at a local nursery or garden center in your area to see if Smoktrees are available, or perhaps they could order one from their supplier.

Welcome!
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29
