https://growingcrazy.ecrater.c...

And I will be growingcrazy now Although I think I have already grown to about as crazy as I can be........

I have (tried) to make a new site since I have some lilies I must dig and divide. I had a disaster of a move and what lilies I managed to bring with me all got planted too close. The Blooming Auction has closed due to lack of business so I have made an eCrater site. It is very difficult as I had to upgrade to Windows10 (and a new computer) to be on the internet so my computer is now barely functional and completely useless for photos. It is even useless for looking at photos.

I have several Western American hybrids to sell and none but one has a name, I am too brain dead so feel free to suggest names.
I also have a few of my old Asiatics listed. The OT seedlings and Aurelian seedlings need more time to multiply - hopefully next fall I will have some.
I also listed some Aroids to sell, I have no time to dig and bother with minor bulbs but I have some for the future. My new house is a disaster and I still have much work to do on it.

Please look it over and let me know what I may have to fix, I cannot proof read my own writing, also note that shipping is flat rate, no time to figure out something better but if you want a small order and care to send a check we can do shipping for less.

[email protected], or [email protected]
if you want to get to me faster.

although it would be nice if someone would contact me from that site so i will know if tthat works........

I will try to test it out with my ancient laptop soon .

Hi everyone,
It seems to be working and the few I have are going fast. If you see one you want and it is not available email me and I will see what I have at harvest time. I also have lilies to trade, I am always looking for my lost orientals and I now can grow them since I moved back to a decent climate. I am also looking for species lilies, seed or otherwise and can also use pollen from American native lilies to cross with my new hybrids.

Good to see you Lisa! I "tested" out your site and order system. It works! I hope lily life and other aspects are treating you well. Congrats on your new venture.

I am glad you found a site aside from ebay to sell on. I had just emailed you concerning some seeds a few hours ago when I saw this post.

The site has its problems. I do not know if is showing items that are "sold out", they may NOT be sold out, Please ask if you want it. some orders have been duplicated, I have no way to automatically put the inventory back, paypal causes a lot of problems.
There is a 15% DISCOUNT for mailing in payments and if the order is small shipping can be adjusted DOWN for MAILED in payments. As stated before Paypal causes a lot of problems for me and sucks up VAST amounts of my time that I would rather spend on something more useful and rewarding. And more pleasant.

I have hundred of other items I could be selling, but because of the vast amounts of time it takes to deal with shipping I am not listing yet. This is why shipping is the way it is, I do not have weeks of time to attempt to figure it out I would have to redo it once or 2 times per year, and the PO just keeps making it more and more complicated every time they raise the rates, and the rates are raised 1 or more times per year.

OK, the site is hiding sold out items (i can't change it). It is also allowing items to be triple sold (I don't know how but it seems some orders didn't close out after being finished, or didn't really finish or it is just evil) and that way it can sell way more than I may have left.
Sorry about that but I do not think I will ever be able to fix it the way i want because the internet is what it is, UNRELIABLE. AGGRAVATING. TIME SUCKING. A DEVICE OF THE DEVIL. etc.....

I would rather be out playing in the mud.

This is one of my most favorite lily seedlings, it is very robust and very red, I have not named it, I call it Big Red Big Spot, or BRBS for sort, it is much like BRSS (Big Red Small Spot).
I was thinking of naming it Red Jag and Ruby Jag (respectively) Jag being short for Jaguar since these are American hybrids and the Jaguar is an American cat, not the Tigers or the Leopards that I bred from.....

So what do you think?
Anyone with any name ideas please share, I am just too tired to think anymore.....

Well blood jaguar might be a catchey name. Or Bloody Jag if you want a play on words if you are familiar with the pre 2000s Jaguars and their electrical problems.

Hi everyone. I have decided to name BRBS "Big Red" since that is what I have called it since I first saw it, and BRSS is named "Red Jaguar". I have started digging as well as working on the horrible place I bought since I can't get any hired help here, it is a big problem. The weather is beautiful, like it should be (it has been terrible since I came back home).
I have severe computer issues. Last winter Paypal made serious changes to my account as to how my payments were funded. Without my knowledge or consent. I have to have paypal as ebafia (who bought it years ago) forces you to take it and I sell all the other plants I produce on it very well. Anyway my old XP computer couldn't fix it since paypal wouldn't let me do that until I downloaded a different browser that would let me in to my account. So since my old computer is slow and glitchy I got a new on (used) with Windows 10. It became obvious that I would need to keep my old computer to do my Photos since the color on windows 10 makes my eyes bleed and my programs are slow and awkward on it. Plus windows 10 just plain SUCKS. Then I got an update and I can no longer print. So I have had to waste a bunch of time copying my new files and getting my trusty old and slow XP up and going. I will be packing up the windows 10 and if the old XP cannot do the internet then my selling days are over, I don't have that much time left and I am not wasting more of my life on this tech that I have grown to hate and despise so much. So I don't think I will be continuing with the lily sales after this, my other plants sell for so much more and so much better on ebfia that it makes no sense to spend 10k to make 500 dollars. I have many other and better things to do than sit in front of this screen accomplishing nothing.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been having computer problems.

Please, please, please do not go back to Windows XP. It reached end-of-life in April 2014 (over 6 years ago) and so has had no security (or any other) fixes since then. It is far too vulnerable to malware and hackers and just about everyone (browsers, anti-virus, etc.) have dropped support for it. Whilst some websites will still work on it using older versions of Firefox or Chrome, eventually that will stop working (almost no website supports Internet Explorer 7 or 8, the default web browsers on XP). Since you are conducting online sales as well, I would strongly recommend not using XP so that your personal and financial details are not vulnerable.

Windows 10 is far better than XP in almost every aspect, although the user interface (UI) did change and that takes some getting used to. If the color scheme hurts your eyes, then it can be changed. Most programs that worked on XP should also work on Windows 10, although in some cases you might need to use a newer version of the program. What programs are you having trouble with in particular?

There are also lots of online tutorials and forums where you can get technical help. I would really encourage you to try to stick with Windows 10 and work out the issues you're experiencing, as most of them sound like teething issues that were never addressed. The printer issue should be straightforward to resolve as well - feel free to treemail me if you'd like me to try to help you with that.

It seems with every update I get for Windows 10, it changes my printer setting and the printer doesn't work. I made a simple "flow chart" to make changing it back quick and not so aggravating.

Control panel >>> Hardware and Sound >>> Device and printers >>>
HP Photosmart (the name of the printer I use) >>> see what's printing >>>
select your printer again >>> Printer >>>
make sure "Use as default printer" is checked, "Use printer offline" is unchecked

I hope it works for you.

BuggyCrazy,
I looked at your site...Your lilies are gorgeous! I wonder if the Champagne would be something that Erin at Floret flowers would be interested in. It looks like it would be an amazing cut flower for weddings and she not only does weddings, but sells to Whole Foods and her site is very popular.
Just a thought.

My bulbs came today, too, Lisa. All excellent. Happy to have 'Fire Truck' and 'Champagne' in my garden! I see on your site you still have some nice offerings left. Pitpar2 looks very nice; I like the Western American hybrids with pinky-white colors. Hope you get over your computer issues! Take care.
