Hello, I am a retired nursery manager for 22 years. I fell in love with plumeria ever since my trip to Tahiti many years ago. Now that I am retired I will be growing some. My question for you is how late in season here on central coast California can I root cuttings? I can keep indoor with light and heat. I can get some cuttings in a month or so but not sure if I should wait til spring.
Thank you

On average I would start now! There is still time for them to take root and wake back up in spring. Why will it take a month or so to get some cuttings. A month is to late in my opinion to try to start them. If you can't start them soon then I would wait till spring. It can get cold in winter there, maybe with light and heat you can do, I've never tried that but my advice would be to start now and by spring they will be ready to flourish.are they special cuttings 😎

Thank you for the advise.. Not special cuttings just that they are at my dentist office in Santa Barbara and due to the virus not sure when I can get in for cleaning to PU.
