All of my roses are still alive so I can't order any new ones this year. But if Distant Drums doesn't get going it will be taken out and replaced by something with vigor and willingness to grow leaps and bounds in clay and gravel dust. I might put it in a pot and bury the pot every winter. Hmmm.... good excuse for a new rose.
