Leon, I love the sounds of nature, too, and the links you posted. The post by Sharon is lovely and brings back memories of summer sounds and insects, some different during my northern childhood from the ones she mentioned. I am so glad you took a walk down memory lane prompted by my banner.

This little girl or boy katydid was not bothered by my photo taking efforts. It just watched me intently, as though to ask "Are you finally finished?".
And that is exactly what I thought when I saw this banner. That Katydid is staring me down. It makes for a really neat banner. Looks like a pretty bloom too.
