Hello,
I've seen a rose during my holidays (August) in Chech Republic, and it was love at first sight!
Please can you help me to name this rose?
It's about 60 - 80 cm high, the bloom is about 10-12 cm with mild fregrance. Yellow - pink.
Thank you very much!
Best regards,
ReLi from Austria

Thank you Mike, what a touching idea... I've seen that rose for many times along the former iron curtain, in villages at each side: Austria and Chech Republic. A rose as embassy for peace!

I think it may be Augusta Luise.

The rose in the first picture looks totally different than those in the rest of the pictures.
The first one must be the early bud.

Hi Lola,
"Augusta Luise" is a very nice Rose, thank you for your tip. I think about to buy both, "Peace" and "Augusta L."

Hi David,
I have to tell you, that the first and last picture are made from the same rosebush. The three other pictures were made at an other day from another rosebush. At that time I didn't know, that there are so many sorts of roses, which looks so similar.
But you're ok, I was surprised at the fact that the early bud looks so different.
Best greetings from Austria,
Reli

Based on that ReLi, I tend to agree that it's Augusta Luise.
