Of course being as excited as I am as a new strep follower I watch my little plants like a hawk and today I saw the little stem with the bud so much bigger I had to share it with you. I know, you all saw many of these before, but this is my first one, so please understand, I am like a new Mother............in fact I raised 4 kids and was never this excited. :blushing:


How long does it take for these to actually bloom? Is there a chance it will fall off........oh my!

JB! It still has another week or maybe 2 - so keep watching! The stem looks healthy so the only reason it would fall off is if it got damaged, and that's not likely, under your "motherly" care! Have fun with your plants!!

I can't wait to see your reaction when that Spin Art bloom opens up JB!

Oh Karen this is worse than when i had my first jasmine I propagated bloom. You can be sure you will hear me the whole way to VA.

Oh I do and I am just so happy it bloomed. I put all of them in 3" pots now. Some are small but their roots were looking good so they are all in their new homes in the East Windows of the bird room. Now I will just be sure they get water every three days. I had a small accident today. Sprained my foot by stepping on the side of a 2xx4 and it threw me. Foot hurts like H but it is not broken, just badly bruised. Which hurts worse then a break. No walking or putting weight on it for a few days unless I must. No driving....I am going to be one miserable old Lady. Talk later. Did you get my TMail regarding that lovely plant you sent me?

My kids are both volunteer EMTs so I am in good hands, except they both work all day and I take care of the farm. Not a good thing to try and walk when it hurts. I am pretty tough but sometimes I have to give in.

You do have to give in!! Take the time to let it heal!

Keep off it! I know so many people that began using their foot too soon and the healing took so so long!

The surgeon put the boot on and did not say anything about staying off of it. It really hurts and I hate the d*** boot but it is much easier to walk with the boot and the walker. I feel so old. I want to cry.

I do love my little strep and the colors are so different. I think my plants, dog and birds are the only thing that keeps me going. Otherwise I think I would just say to H with it and lay down all day.
