Hello everyone,
I bought some orange miniature roses from my grocery store about 3 weeks ago and they were about 7 separate mini roses bunched up together in 1 pot and I didn't realize it until a week ago.

I recently separated them because I began to notice that the bottom of the canes were starting to develop some type of canker. All of the 7 roses seem to have a type of canker in the base of the rose.

I'm unsure if the browning of the bottom of the canes are bad news (root rot) and the rose is going to die soon and if not, i'm unsure how to treat it because the roots are recovering from the separation.

The roses seem to be doing well after the separation though, it's growing new leaves that seem healthy.

If anyone has any advice please let me know (:
I really love the color of the mini roses so I'm doing whatever I can to save them!

It's more like mechanical damage. I wouldn't worry about it.
They will grow best if you get them outside, btw.
