I came back to my apartment to find that one of my rose canes had completely dried out.
I'm attributed this to repotting because I wanted to improve the soil in my roses pot so I repotted but accidentally damaged some roots.
However, I noticed that my rose has leaves that have turned brown in the corner and has struggled with some yellowing and i'm not sure how to make the leaves greener and the plant look healthier. I'll upload some pictures after my class
If it was outside in direct sun and under watered I'd say that was your problem. Put it back outside but in morning sun only, if possible, and keep it well watered. Not soggy but moist all the time. Maybe some half strength fertilizer but be careful with that. Any leaves that are all ready yellowing will probably not green back up but the light green ones should and any new ones will be fine. If that cane was already damaged that's why it shriveled. Taking it off was the right thing to do.
It seems that after watering, the newer leaves greened a bit more
I'll move it out of the full sun for a bit to help it out (:
I'm not sure if I should add a small piece of slow release fertilizer (what I have available right now, Jobes Rose Fertilizer Spikes) or I should do another form of fertilizer?
