Hello,

Hope you're all doing well!
I recently bought some miniature roses and thought a cheaper and more eco-friendly alternative to plastic pots would be a grow bag
however, I wanted to know if there were any possibles cons to growing a miniature rose in a grow bag? Or if it's not recommended?

I haven't been able to find much info about it.

Thank you!

I don't see why you can't use them as long as they're large enough. Grow bags have higher drainage rate than plastic pots, so you need water more frequently. And, choose dark bags, because they will be stained by wet dirt. Not looking pretty. Green Grin!

I think it would be fine. I know there are several people who use grow bags for their roses and like them. Just make sure you use a big enough bag. Mini rose plants do not always stay small!
