Well in the days gone by, it usually meant all the joy of Christmas followed by all the joy of deciding whether to go out at eleven PM to shovel the still falling snow so it would not be so bad in the morn, or just waiting and hoping no one got stuck so the first thing you did in the morning was wade outside in deep snow and pushing those too cheap to buy snow tires.
I actually miss that a bit.
