Susan, we have ours shipped mid to late September when it is not so hot and so we can add weekly specials, too. Like you, we are very busy now and don't want to be receiving new daylilies in the mail to care for through the hot, dry summer. Having said that, we are still waiting for a daylily to come from Massachusetts. The website says that shipping will be May 30 through June 15. I have just sent an email asking when we might be able to receive it. I have been looking for it since the beginning of June.

I hear winter was extra long this year for the people up north. Some vendors I purchased from said they were three weeks behind schedule. I am happy to say I have all the daylilies that I ordered on LA and will look forward to Maryott's in the fall. I am very happy about what I have ordered. Let me know if you see anything good on the weekly specials. I was very, very happy with the bonuses I got from Bill, I am still waiting for a good flower on Partita, the slugs have eaten the first two.

We got an email tonight from the seller stating that the earliest shipping would be late July or later if we preferred. I emailed back wait until early September. (Too hot in late July here to receive a bareoot daylily or any daylily.) I bought this daylily off the website last October for a hefty amount for an advertised SF and hoped to have it by early June for this blooming season. I doubt I will order anything else from this seller. I want to clarify that this in NOT from Maryott's since this thread pertains to Maryott. We have only received great stuff from Maryott, and they are very easy to work with.

In fact, almost every single daylily I received last fall, including a bonus I thought I had lost this spring- not only bloomed last fall, but is already scaping up for this season. They look awesome.

Same here Jan. mine got delayed in transport and still thrived. Just today I found two scapes on BUSY BEING BLUE which I'm thrilled about!

I just received this year's order from Maryott's yesterday. As always, I am happy with everything that was sent. They are so generous with the number of fans and bonuses .

I received my wonderful Maryott's order yesterday. I had ordered a total of eight plants, including two new introductions, and he sent another eight bonus plants that I had included in my "wish list -- including three new introductions! Wow, that's just amazing! Some of the leaves were yellowed, and I soaked the roots overnight, and they look really good now -- all are fantastic big double to triple fans too, with the exception of two of the bonus plants (MINERAL SPRINGS and BUSY BEING BLUE), where the single fans were of moderate size. A fantastic order -- I just love Maryott's!

The bonus plants I received are Energized, Jumping Jack, Musical Review, Mineral Springs, Partita, Busy Being Blue, Secret Agent and Gold Kissed. A couple of years ago he requested I give him a "wish list" for bonus plants, and I always send a really large one so he has plenty to select from, and this year everything I received was on my list.

Great plants! I received gold kissd a couple years ago from Bill and I really like it. It's subtle but very saturated and a nice punch of color.

I received Gold Kissed also and I really liked the color. I have had no luck with Partita.

Bluegrass Music opened today and it has a tight bud placement.
