Hello,

I am contacting you because I have been looking for a certain rose and was recently told they are currently found in Australia. I am hoping you can help me find a way to acquire a plant of my own, or offer advice on another way to reach my goal.

Are you familiar with the Athena Tea Rose and if possible can you help me find a way to get it? My friend lost a daughter named Athena Rose almost nine years ago and I'm hoping to get her the plant for her daughter's next "birthday". I could have a wooden one crafted by a company here in the US but my friend is an avid plant enthusiast and I'd love to find some way for her to have a connection to the plant that she can cultivate on her own.

Can you offer any advice?

Thank you in advance.

There are a few roses by the name of Athena, the top three listed in the link below were all introduced by Kordes. The frst two are florists roses and rarely make it into mainstream retail nurseries. If you click on each one and then on the 'Buy From' tab, each show as only listed in either Germany, Russia or Australia. Doesn't look like any ever made it to the U.S., if they did, they are too old and no longer in circulation.
