I just changed mine from Willamette Valley to Dallas, OR. It had me in the Portland area.
I love this feature.

I have a question. Why do some of them not display a name when you hover over them? Some are in a group and won't show names.

I noticed that, too.

I'm using google maps api to embed this map on our site. It looks like they may have a bug or else I implemented it wrong.

There is a time lag. IP addresses can be targeted easily but it is bound to run foul of some laws. Only persons who volunteer. Good enough what we have and others will slowly appear out of the woodwork.

Putting it on satellite view is fun too, you can see the geography of the area. I love this.

Putting it on a hybrid satellite cum Koppen would even be better in add on layers. Zoom in should also be an option. Maybe people might find it easier to locate their position..

I changed it back to Hebron and "I'm on the map", but we just have a Hebron mailing address, since we're outside the city limits, we live in Boone County. Had to move the map to where our street is compared to the where the 'arrow' is pointed at.
