I'd like tips on dividing crowded Asiatic Lilies. Should I do it after they bloom, or in the fall when they are dead?

Asiatics do best cut back and divided in the fall after the foliage has begun to die back. Lift carefully with a spade fork. Separate and divide, enriching the soil and spacing out.
