Benny, LOL ... I know little about Philodendrons. I know there are some types that vine profusely and attach to any available support. There are others referred to as self-heading, with stems strong enough to hold themselves in an upright position, but I think in nature all Philodendrons prefer to have trees to climb. Don't quote me on that though as I'm really not sure.
I took a small sturdy tree branch for one of my Philo's years ago, wrapped the branch in coir/coconut fiber and plopped it down in the pot with the plant ... that Philodendron produced tendrils/aerial roots? and climbed all over that tree branch.
Oh, that is so generous and sweet of you to offer me half of your lovely plant but I'm still downsizing (been doing so for the past three years!) so I will have to pass. I think you should keep that plant all together for a nice specimen plant!
I will be watching to see if someone identifies that beauty!
