Thread OP

Hi All,

We recently went on a trip through Utah and were captivated by the scenery. We make homemade drinks and would love to make a syrup infused with berries or herbs native to the state. As we were doing some research we found golden currants may be a good candidate (although we couldn't find a source to buy dried ones). Are there any other notable natives to Utah that we may be able to source in small quantities?

Thanks in advance!
Tyler

Utah (Zone 7a)
Just explored this forum for the first time and saw this post so my response may be outdated. Utah has both native service berries, elderberries, and choke cherry that grow in great abundance. Also hawthorned but those are quite dry.
