Out of rooting hormone? Open your kitchen cabinet and grab some cinnamon. Plant stems dipped into it will kill fungus and bacteria to help keep those new cuttings free of disease while rooting.

Ateequrraheman2002g, I don't know of any rooting powder that can be used as a liquid. Those are normally formulated to a particular strength and used dry.

Buying a liquid concentrate will be your best bet. I'm not sure you'll want to mix up a litre as it takes very little hormone to do the job and once mixed you need to use it within a day or so.

Should you need large amounts of a rooting liquid your best bet would be to make a tea using willow leaves and stems .

Hope this helps.
