Welcome! @zivbbb to the adenium forums

Your plant does look like a A. crispum ....long narrow leaves is a characteristic of the species ...

another possibility is A. swazicum ...

may take a few years to narrow down possibilities, to come up with an exact identification ......as the plant flowers, the flower shape & color will help with its identity ....

another key to identification is the shape & form of the caudex (trunk)

Thank you so much for your reply, I really appreciate it. It is not Swazicum, I have one and it doesn't look like it. I guess I'll have to wait until it blossoms, see the shape and color as you mentioned. I do think it is Crispum, time will tell.

Welcome! @zivbbb I have a few with similar leaves but I think mine are hybrid since petals are doubles. Would be interesting to see the bloom of yours. I can't see the caudex so not sure if yours is seedgrown.

@wildbloomers has true crispum.

That's an impressive caudex, definitely doesn't look like grafted, I can't see any graft lines.

@zivbbb. It is almost impossible to tell without flowers.The flowers of A. crispum and its hybrids are quite distinctive. Some A.crispum do have leaves like your plant (without the more common wavy/crisped leaf edges). The caudex of wild grown (collected) crispum are usually subterranean with a turnip shaped caudex that has feeder roots growing from the top of the caudex. Grown in pots the caudex does form above the ground level and the roots are quite large. Your plant looks as though it has been lifted to show the thick roots. A. crispum is a small scrambling shrub rarely more than a foot tall in the wild and is extremely slow growing but will flower while still small.
I notice that you have wire trained around the stems. Is this for adjusting its shape or for support of an otherwise floppy plant?
Be kind, we all struggle sometimes.

Wildbloomers,
Thank you so much for your elaborated answer, much appreciated, very helpful. I guess all I have to do now is to wait for it to bloom. I will upload a photo when I will have one (in spring). The wire trained around the stamp is for support. When I bought the plant it was in a very bad shape. I loved it as it was different visually from my Adenium Obosum and Swazicum.
