Your plant does look like a A. crispum ....long narrow leaves is a characteristic of the species ...

another possibility is A. swazicum ...

may take a few years to narrow down possibilities, to come up with an exact identification ......as the plant flowers, the flower shape & color will help with its identity ....

another key to identification is the shape & form of the caudex (trunk)
