Planted these in the fall of 2020. They came up 2021 and we had a very hard freeze that killed all that growth. Some of them grew back half heartedly and some didn't return at all that year. This year most came back up and just as this one was ready to bloom, it looks like it started dying or maybe rotting? in the middle of the stalk? I've never had one do this before? It is in well drained soil, but we have been getting a lot of rain lately. Any ideas what is wrong with it? Will it live? and is there anything I should do for it? I can't remember it's name, something fairy?

It could be too wet. Generally when they look like that, they come back fine the next year as it may be a one season too much cool/rain or some combination of environmental factors.

well shoot, these are the normal environmental factors for here Green Grin!
It is in well draining soil so I hoped it would do okay with large amounts of spring rains. The thing is my other lilies don't do this, and some of them are in soil that is not very good and doesn't drain well -more clay like. Maybe some varieties are pickier than others.
