Just wanted to mention: for years I've *always* added to my Cold Morning Openers (CMO) e-file a note about seedlings and cultivars that are good CMO's when you guys point it out. : ) I don't have much to say otherwise, but wanted to let you know that it's greatly appreciated, since except for maybe two nights a year on average, I *always* have CMO temps during the growing season! : ))
Many thanks: Fred, Michele, and everyone else) ! - Elizabete
PS Jan, btw, it was also great to know that P Stamile's Last Snowflake also is pod fertile !! I noticed on the databases that it has a pollen kid. But your report on another thread about Maryanne's seedling was the first I heard that it's also pod fertile. Maybe if it comes down in price, it might be worth buying. I'd also love to hear about your experiences with the seedling's budcount and branching, once it settles in.
I had one blooming today that looks like James first one. Too much round going on for me. Too bad, as it on a great scape. Its sepal is hung up on a bud :-(
Pink Aloha x Raspberry Mountain
Pam - That's a gorgeous seedling! It looks perfect to me. I love the soft pink color, the halo color, and the gorgeous ruffled edges. Is it a large bloom?
Fred - I'm loving all those patterened eye seedlings - both the spideries and the full forms! The Coconut Grove kid is a very pretty baby, too!
Fred, I love each and every one of those seedlings! And that last one -- the Lillian's Woman's Touch one -- WOW -- I'd love to have that beauty even though it's a dip!
And Michele, your seedlings are WONDERFUL! I love those green throats, and each of them is really a beauty. James' seedlings are nice too, although I like yours better.
And Pam -- I think that is a fantastic seedling! And I really like the cross too.

FRED,
Put ME on the list for seedling 210 to be registered this fall, I MUST have it. Also when will HB 42 be registered? My Lillian's Deceitful Eyes should be blooming soon.
Elizabette,
I have never gotten Last snowflake to set a pod and I have had it since 2007. Also have not had luck with the pollen either. Maybe in a greenhouse.
Dot, in case Fred doesn't see this for some reason (he's old and his eyes are getting bad ) ...... If I'm not mistaken HB42 will never be registered because it has a short scape (but doesn't pass it along to the babies);he (and now I) use it as a bridge plant.
