First Pic-Are Lilies I Already Had Planted.
Second Pic-Is Lilies I Ordered This Fall And Have Received And Planted Already.
3rd Pic-Are Lilies I have Ordered And Won't Get Till Spring.
I Will Need To Make More Beds To Plant Them In, I Have The Rest Full. My Question Is.... I'm Looking For Ideas Of Which Would Compliment Each Other Planted together? How Many Of Each Kind? Or Should I Just Make One Massive Grouping? Any Thoughts Will Be Appreciatively Considered And I Thank You In Advance.

Keep in mind that the conditions required by some of the lilies in your third order vary, particularly for the martagons and L. philadelphicum. L. henryi, philadelphicum and the martagons prefer a slightly alkaline soil, as far as I recall. L. speciosum prefers acidic (likewise the Asiatics).

I don't know why some vendors label 'Lady Alice' as a species lily! It is not - it is an Aurelian hybrid. In my experience Aurelians are generally happy with a mildly acidic soil.

Thank You and I don't know why either I've seen Lady Alice classified as a tiger lily as well. Fusion is listed as a species Lily in almost everything I've seen and it's a hybrid.

You will want to plant any oriental lilies in filtered light or part shade especially if you get hot summer sun. Mark them when they bloom so you can move them next fall. If you are not sure if they are orientals, post photos here so we can help you out. Looks like you are in for a great show next year.

How you group them is really up to you, what you like. Maybe you don't care for clashing colors, such as pink and orange next to each other. I grow mine in rows and use them for making crosses to get seed so color placement doesn't matter so much to me. They are happy with companion plantings, for example leafy plants/annuals that will help shade the soil around the lilies' root area.

'Arabian Night' is also hybrid not martagon sp. selection.
L. leichtlinii in trade is 99,9% hybrid (asiatic 'King David' if I recall).

Yes, Arabian Knight is a martagon hybrid (there is no yellow in the Lilium martagon species), but the label doesn't say "species". The common name can and does refer to Lilium martagon and its hybrids.

At least here in Europe there is pale yellow martagon sp. usually called f. flavidum. Now is it true form of sp. martagon or hybrid I don't know.
