Hi

I was given this lovely orchid as a gift-however the buds and flowers.have now fallen off -will it regrow.- is.just sat in the room now.looking bare-should.I get rid of it or what are the next steps!

Hi, looking at your Phalaenopsis, it finished blooming and now I would certainly not throw it out, but keep on growing it for repeat blooms.
Perhaps you might read a bit here, we have just the thread for you to peruse, if you are so inclined.

San, just wondering, did you take a look at the link?
Is the plant still in what looks like Sphagnum? If so, you might want to repot into Orchid bark mix.

For San or others with an orchid like this-
They are not 'hard to care for' but the care is a little different from typical houseplants. (see links) Repotting with bark etc as already said would be a good step to take, if you are up for it.
The green leaves will stay like that and hopefully add (only) one or two new leaves over the summer.
The stems will not make new flowers. (as a rule) so cut them off. save the little clips. If all goes well, it makes a new stem next winter and you use the clips to shape it to the frame. Crossing Fingers!
Plant it and they will come.

@San333 just want to Welcome! you! Great advice and links already from experts here. Hope you can make them rebloom for you. Mine like morning sun but I do need to bring them winter time.
