So excited that I found this forum. I think your enthusiasm may produce another obsession (along with Hemerocallis and Tall Beardeds.) I do not have a lot of lilies but I have bought a few collections of Asiatic and Orientals that bloomed in their pictured shades of pink and rose. I still have the pictures from the packages in my history cabinet. This year I have pure whites in 3 different beds and virtually no colors. As far as this old brain can remember I have never bought a pure white, really don't like them although now I am thinking I need to order some really dark colors to complement. So any ideas how I suddenly acquired whites?

- How long ago did you buy the lily bulbs?
- When you say "pure white" do you mean absolute no color at all or faded pink that is almost white?
- Are these old flowers or new flowers that are "pure white"? (flower color fades with age of individual flowers)
- Is it the asiatics, the orientals or both that are "pure white"? (Or, perhaps there are only asiatics or orientals left....)

I planted the bulbs between 2018-2021 (wrote year on saved packages but not sure anymore who's who. Sorry!) They opened pure white and remained pure white. Not sure if they were asiatics or orientals as there were some of each. As my usually meticulous record keeping is very sadly lacking on these, I am going to chalk it up to hardy whites included in an assortment or forgotten Easter lilies rescued from a church service although they have no fragrance.
