I bought a tiny Monstera Ginny 2 years ago & have done nothing for it beyond potting & watering. It lives on the ledge in front of a large, east facing window in my bathroom.

Not sure if this is the correct term, but the "stalk" is long and droops over to one side, & there are only 4 very small leaves at the end of it. The leaves are green & healthy, but I don't think the stalk should be so long? Looking for advice on whether I should add a stake & tie it upright, or should it be cut/shortened & then re-planted?

Your plant isn't a Monstera. It's a related aroid, Rhaphidophora tetrasperma. It looks very overpotted for its size. It should be in about a 4" container from the looks of it. The reason it looks so sad is that it has never had enough light, and because yes, this is a climbing aroid. For a 2 year old plant, your leaves are stunted and still in the barely juvenile stage almost of a fresh cutting.

I would repot this into fresh soil in a smaller container, give it a support to climb and put it into a much brighter window
