So the main lilium show was in late May early June for me. Show is over and I want to know what to do w/greens, if anything at all,

It previous years I've watched foliage die over a number of months and I clean in Fall or next spring. But it drives me nuts. If I can cut sooner lmk. In this particular spot I have red alert and night rider.

Again, embarrassed to ask but not embarrassed to learn

You really need to leave the green stalks. When a stem emerges in the spring it sucks the energy out of the bulb, depleting it. In the fall as the foliage dies back that energy is sucked back into the bulb for use next year.

You can snap off the seed heads if you want.

Thank you, I'll let them be. This pic is from mid May. They're planted underneath a purple cerci's and the vignette is quite stunning. I recently added equally dark DLs. and threw in some dwarf white glads for contract.

What a pretty garden scene! The green lily stalks make a nice filler for the remaining season.
