'Little Treasure' grows a lot better than 'Little Jay'. I've had this a couple of years whereas 'Little Jay' didn't make it to its 3rd year with me.

'Lakeside Elfin Fire' grew very well in a pot. Then I tried to make a border with it which didn't work well. I consolidated what I could into a group and it's struggling along, but I'm seeing more and more leaves that are half green. Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/0f4957

'Lakeside Zinger' is, I believe, classified as mini though I don't really think of mine as such. Another that forms a very dense mound. I fully divided it a couple of years ago and you'd never know it. Somewhere in the mound is a little bit that has sported to 'Lakeside Zing Zang', but unless it grows more I'm not separating it.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/8720a8

'Pandora's Box' is the last of the 'Baby Bunting' family and it's not growing quickly, but it IS hanging in there.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/e658ae

Is 'Peanut' a mini? I'm not really sure, but it sure isn't big in my garden. However, so far, at least, it's not reverting to 'Goober'.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/fcf35a

I think 'Pixie Vamp' is a mini, but am not sure. New last year and still in a pot, but seems enthusiastic.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/cd0028

'Popo' I've had for a couple of years and it's quite small, but growing.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/58bf0e

'Silver Threads and Golden Needles' is another mini that I don't really think of as mini, but I'm sure it's on the list. The leaves will get a bit darker during the season.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/d54dbb

'Stiletto' would probably make a good border, but so far, at least, I've allowed it to grow in a nice, well-behaved mound. I've had it 5 or 6 years.

Oh no, Evan - Wascally wabbit indeed!

'Surprised By Joy'
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/f4fc45

'Tears of Joy' is relatively fast growing but has a very small leaf and a peculiar, upright growth habit.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/0f15e3

'Tick Tock' is another I don't think of as mini, but I believe it is classified as such. Another that is fast growing and forms a dense mound.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/afe2a5

'Twist of Lime' is at the end of my 'Lemon Frost' border
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/18a58f

'Tiny Tears' - I got this one almost 3 years ago and it's fast growing. It used to share this pot with 'Green Eyes', but was overwhelming it.
Thumb of 2013-06-12/ViolaAnn/d3a34e

'X-rated' is the last. This is another that's fairly enthusiastic and quite small.

I used Milorganite freely this Spring and it's been working very well. I'd guess this is an example of baby bunnies and a path without fert. Otherwise no other bunny damage...yet. Smiling

Hurray! There are many here who will swap plants and it's a good way to increase your collection. I have, in the past, exchanged lots of plants with people (usually fairly local) whom I had met on line. Now, my suburban lot is more than full and it's difficult for me to accept more plants. More of an issue of which ones aren't growing well and should be shipped out to make room for something better.

But beware - we will do everything in our power to convert you to being a full-fledged hostaholic. Rolling on the floor laughing

Tread carefully Blossom, these are some of the more dangerous enablers on ATP. Of course, based on your photos, you may be one as well. Whistling

Thanks for the warm welcome. I think I am already addicted lol! I began with daylilies, over 400 of those now, use to have over 800 so I am cutting back. Now it's hostas and heucheras. I've waitied 9 years to finally have a large shade garden and was keeping them jammed up in pots until now. My friends are getting me into ferns and other shafe lovers also.
Thanks, Freda (Blossom)
