In your database, I can verify that all you say about 'Best Wishes seems true, but it is mystifying to me that you neglect to mention that is is one of the only roses to show cream variegation on the leaves.
I bought mine in 2009 from a reputable specialist in Norfolk, UK who said he was unaware of any other such, and that it was possibly unique. It is certainly the rose's most noticeable attribute, yet not vaunted by garden.org. Why?

We only list this one Rose (Rosa 'Best Wishes') which is a yellow bloom by the hybridizer Colin Dickson.

There are 4 roses registered as Best Wishes

The one you are referring to must be this one:

the second photo under the Photos tab shows the leaves.

All our database info is added by our members, if someone grows it, they can add the plant, details and photo.

Yes, I noticed you listed a few!
It's just I keep fairly good records - mine was bought as such from Peter Beales I now find, who is a long-established breeder/grower of solid reputation, and so I concentrated on the recognisable one.
GAP's stock photo of 'Best Wishes' is the variegated red climber, and I have since found this article, which pre-dates the apparent 'discovery' of the sport by Paul Chessum, in that it was widely on sale a year earlier, so I think he 'discovered' [and renamed] an already-known red climber called 'Best Wishes'

The "discovered" designation in my HMF link is just when it was officially recorded as registered by Paul Chessum, 1996. Your linked article says they had exclusive 1995 rights.
Best Wishes is a sport of Curiosity ® (hybrid tea, Cocker 1971) which is also mentioned in your link.
