It is more of a violet blue, than just blue. I think it is lovely. I would love that one in my garden. I will have to order some seed.

I don't even care if it doesn't bloom. It was fun to grow and the "folliage" is cool. The seeds are microscopic! I ended up with some random seedlings in some of my other winter sowing containers! LOL Very easy to tell them!

HAHAHA.....you guys have just taken off on this thread....no worries I love the comments. I am thinking that the iceplants will look good in the stump. Maybe I could hollow it out just a little or enough to put a pot down in there so the dirt wont wash away.

I have so much for you! My car will be packed on Saturday when we meet up!
Hurray! Hurray!

I cant wait for Saturday.....I just started weeding the front beds for some of our babies but my hubby took off with the clicker to the garage and I can't get in there to get my lawn tools out and some bins for all the weeds lol. I did some though. Oh my co-worker said she needs lots of geraniums and iris's lol. I told her she can't have my new babies. I was just about to go and buy some geraniums last weekend but decided to wait. Hurray! Hurray!

Congratulations, know it will be even better as time goes by. Keep us posted. Group hug

Thank you Marilyn. I know it will get better here soon. I think I am a bit overwhelmed with all the possibilities. Also, I hope I dont mess anything up to much. So far I am weeding around the hostas and the rose bushes...plus there are some crawlers with little blue and purple flowers on them. Not sure what they are called. Actually just decided to look it up....it's called Pachysandra but apparently the blue flowers only bloom in the springtime.

I love your house, and look at that beautiful green lawn. Better yet, look at all those areas to plant in. With awesome rocks to use. Lovey dubby
Oh yes, I too love the hardwood floors. And the bed that your hubby made you. Hurray!
Your new semp bed looks amazing. By this time next year it will be well on it's way to filling up with new generations of semps. Hurray!
You have been very busy.

Yes Lynn I have been very busy indeed. So far out of all that you have sent me Ive only lost the lemon babies Crying You did say those were hard though. Whistling
Thanks, my hubby was wondering if anyone had mentioned his bed. It was his first bed so he is pretty proud of it Big Grin
I was thinking of possibly adding some chicken grit on top of the bed or something but not sure. I had mixed pea stone in with the soil to keep it from compacting to much and to provide good drainage. I cant believe how well all of your babies are doing now!!! They really did just need to be left alone and now they have so many little tiny babies it's crazy!! Hurray!

webesemps said:Congrats on your new humble abode, Jackie! Well it was about time you got that growing space you've always wanted!!

Love the size and health of your "Michigandease(?)" Semps!

And just one suggestion for you to try on the new bed or any other bed: DELOSPERMA

You know there's a delosperma thread on the semp forum somewhere to take a gander at!

Thanks for sharing all your good fortune and good endeavors that turned out beautiful with us...and Welcome! to your new HOME!

Bev!!!!! Oh how Ive missed you sooooo. Lovey dubby
The Michiganers are by far my biggest semp. I just named them that real quick because I havent really found a good name for them yet. They didnt have any babies when I received them from my DH's friends house and now they almost all have babies!!! This was the one that turns that deep purple shade that you liked. I would be more than happy to share!! I am hoping that they will start turning that purple more now that they are in there new home. We shall see.

I can't wait to try some iceplants in the semp bed!!! It will bring in a lot more color which is great!!! Hurray!

Holly had sent me some clumps of sarmentosum which are what the yellow flowering ones are in the bed. She said they grew super fast and they sure do!!! I tried to put them at the edge a little so they could crawl a bit.

Some of those semps in the first few posts look very familiar. Smiling Smiling

I predict that in two years Jackie is giving away extra semps to thin her massive clumps.
