Goodbye to the occasionally uplifting but more often disconcerting year of 2023. I am so grateful for the gardening community on our site, which offers a welcome respite from the sometimes grim realities of the world at large.

I started to register my roses in bloom while learning how to use my recent cell phone camera. This is my first trial of today:
'Anne Marie Trechslin'. This is one of my favourite HT's within the range of pernetianas. It has a strong fragrance that lingers all day long.
