Container Gardener Butterflies Echinacea Hummingbirder Roses Region: Texas
I may be asking the impossible but I will be visiting the San Francisco area for a month ( new granddaughter) and want to help the new parents in their garden area. They are renting and want to grow some roses in containers they can take with them. I've visited briefly already so they have the sun required to be successful. Their growing conditions are so different from mine ( Texas) that I need suggestions for roses that are pretty easy for them (new parents) for containers. Or if this is difficult, then other options for containers.

Why not visit a couple nurseries in the area and ask them? Who better than to advise on what works best.
I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.”

I don't think that will be a difficult climate for roses. Perhaps look for something that resists black spot and does not want to grow very large.

The roses of the Drift series and the Oso Easy line are very nice in containers.

Thank you Zuzu! I have Drift roses over here and love them. I don't have them in containers so didn't realize they would be an option.

Do the OsoEasy roses have any scent?

I think the Oso Easy roses have no scent or only a mild fragrance, unfortunately.

No scent on the Oso series. I've done the sniff test on them. Hilarious!
