That's one I was telling you about the other day Zuzu! Only instead of the news video, they made a nice edit with it here.

I knew it must be that one, Sue.

There are several firefighter rescues of kittens on YouTube. Some of the fire departments now have special oxygen masks for kittens and puppies. Warms my heart. Lovey dubby

A few shots from this morning:

Cafe

Lady Emma Hamilton just put out a ton of new bronze growth and is getting quite large.

Jeri Jennings finally has nice blooms on it's second flush now that the rose weevils are gone. Iris Hope is the larger white blooms in the back. It's backed up by Florist Silver Dollar (Eucalyptus pulverulenta 'Baby Blue') on the left and a Eastern Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius Coppertina™) on the right.

Oh my, the beauty. Lovey dubby

I did get some rose blooms, but I didn't take a single photograph. They were about a month later than usual. The weather this summer has been so lousy I was just never in the mood to go outside and take photos. Harison's Yellow was a star and Tuscany Superb was covered in flowers. Hyppolyte also performed well so Thumbs up for the gallicas. Big Grin

Hi Sue Smiling - it's off to a good start so far ...... Green Grin! already warmer and sunnier than all of June and most of July last year. It was an epically horrible summer - the summer that never came. So it better be good this year - it's been two years since last proper summer! Blinking
How my roses fared without protection this winter remains to be seen. Looks like there are a few losses, but most seem to have survived, although some just barely.
