I did plant some today, but mainly I spent time on "fixing" areas I planted yesterday and destroyed the grass at. But I also "fixed" the areas I planted today and dig up grass. So was scratching up dirt off grass and leveling for planting, then putting grass seed.
This was one of the areas planted yesterday. It now has crocus and chionodoxa. It already looks better and after the grass starts to grow will look fine.
Here is another area I did in the plant crocus and chionodoxa method. It is the edge of a grassy path between the flower bed and the end of one of my tomato beds. Watered and glass seed spread. Looks like a mess now but will look great in the spring with the little bulbs coming thru the lawn.
And on the other side of my house, another area in my creating little pockets of crocus and chionodoxa. There are crocus in back and chionodoxa towards the front. I am not sure if doing it this way instead of just stabbing with my soil knife and dropping bulbs in method is better or not. It does allow me to have a better placement of the bulb groupings but makes a bigger mess. But I already put grass seed out and once the grass sprouts, it will look fine. In spring it will look better than fine.
