On rebloom Tempt Me has been looking muddy and every bloom has at least 1 cupped sepal, which I find unattractive.

Wow, Blondes Beach has some fancy ruffles happening, pretty. Nice seedling Hans, always sad to see the last blooms on a favorite be it seedling or registered cultivar. Hard to believe the season is almost over. I finally downloaded the last images from the camera and got the last of the images labeled Hurray!

Albion Moonlight - love the texture on this one, wish it were taller.

Aztec Sunrise

Laura Nyro

Slipped My Disco showing it's cool pattern

Voice of Reason, a bit brighter than it should be. I plan to have a "talk" with my camera this winter about the color on purples this year. (meaning I plan to dig out the instruction book and see how to fix the problem Smiling )

Waves Become Wings

Whiter Shade

Wild Irish, doesn't open flat not sure if it is suppose to but the color is really nice.

I FOUND MY CAMERA!! In the backpack I had at the fair, which I should say, I searched TWICE previously! I think the gremlins borrowed it for a time.

Blooming today I had:
God's Gift To Warthogs (love the flower AND the name!) and Fleur De Rocaille

I also had Holly Dancer continuing to bloom since around July 1st, Toltec Sundial, Lilting Belle, Cheetah Safari, Strikingly Dramatic, Lest We Ever Forget and a NoID purple blooming. Most of these are reblooms, but some, like Holly Dancer, aren't I have never had this many reblooms, and I am certainly not complaining. ~Jan

They are very beautiful, I love both of them. TEMPT ME, is really good photo, the other one in the data base has teeth so big I thought it needed a tooth brush!!

That's the one, wow look at the size of them teeth. It is amazing for a daylily to have such big white teeth.

I just love the new 'toothy' wonders. And I know the hybridizers are working like crazy to produce flowers with 'vampire teeth', in all colors. My ideal toothy plant would be a full flowered, large flower, with gigantic 'ruffled' tooth edge, with an intricate patterned eye. I can see it in my mind's-eye with the help of 'Waves of Joy' (Jan Trimmer's new intro) crossed with one of the new toothy plants, and then recrossed to one large ruffled flower. If I can imagine it, it will happen. Hurray! Thumbs up

I think the complicated DLs are fascinating but the plainer ones are needed to provide a frame. Too much complexity is too much of a good thing IMHO!

I agree With so many edges out there I think we will begin to see a lot looking very much alike before long unless something new is produced.

Oh Hans - beautiful flowers.

Talking about teeth, I have Tooth Tower - which even in this cool summer, produced teeth most days. It has rebloomed, and has no teeth. I have to keep reminding myself what it is! ~Jan

I had one that I thought had teeth but I wasn't sure if it was real teeth or just pointed ruffles. LOL.

Zephyr's Song

I looked it up but no mention of teeth, so maybe pointed ruffles. Shrug!
