I finally have some spring blooms to show. Worked on getting this bed cleaned yesterday and the day before. Now it is looking better. My redbuds are getting some beautiful color. Isn't everything about 2 weeks early this year?

I took several of this bed as it is all that looks good now.

It's taking a long time for these to load but here is the bed from another angle.

Oh, I had that "long load time" problem and Dave helped me correct it. Changed the size of my photos to 600x800. Works fast now....

How do you change the size?

Are you storing your photos in Windows Gallery or somewhere like that? Wherever you keep them , highlight the photo you want and right click on it , Drop down options appear and then click on EDIT, then choose RESIZE, then choose 600x800 from the dropdown box, then APPLY. Then x out of it and it will ask if you want to save it and say YES.

Thanks I'll try it soon. Waiting 3 or 4 minutes is not what I want to do....

My pink iris going strong but yellow had bad luck with the wind

Gruss in Auchen with large buds. It usually had poor buds at the start but this year the buds are nice

The blooms are much larger than normal. The bush is only about 2ft tall. I fertilized and put compost around them so that will account for the better performance this year

My Cherry Meideland rose by the front porch. Be back later when more things are in bloom.

Angie the property is a farm and it is 196 acres. My DH mows quite a bit. We used to have cattle and a grain operation. Now we have grain but we rent it out.

Teri it was supposed to be Nelly Moser but I thought Nelly was pink. This is a lavender color and the striping is not so pronounced. I think I will just say it is Nelly Moser.
If anyone else has more info let me know. Maybe soil could account for the color.
