Last year was a year of heat and not much rain. When I look back the pictures were all taken early in the season. Guess that is good so I don't remember the times when everything was all dried up

Sorry looks like I duplicated a few pictures. Hope some of the rest of last year's posters and some new folks will get on board with some garden tours.

I'm hoping for lots of blooms this year...I had thought I would give up gardening but that is something I can't do. Just thinking about it makes me happy

I made this planter out of a 70's lamp
A plate flower amid the early flowers
My first foxgloves "Pam's Choice"
Some caterpillars have completely eaten this. It was once very pretty.

Oh my gosh, the 70's lamp made into a planter is wonderful!! I luv that! Why have you not posted this on the Garden Art thread, Veronica? Or maybe you have and I missed it. Terrific idea. Your gardens are beautiful and these shots are somewhat different from the Cottage Gardens forum. I'd post over here but my I am only two years into redoing this 45 year old yard and it isn't anything special like the ones I see here. So I'll just enjoy these. All are so big and beautiful!! Lovely!
But now I'm gonna hunt for old floor lamps at yard sales and thrift stores. I'm smitten.
Thanks Tee.. I saw a lamp in one of the gardening magazines and used it for the inspiration..I couldn't believe my luck when I found this lamp soon after reading the article..It was fun to make and since I am not crafty was quite a chalenge..
